報(bào)告題目:“Falling with Style” – Gliding Robotic Fish Patrol Waters with Ease 報(bào) 告 人:Xiaobo Tan(譚曉波) 時(shí) 間:2015年4月17日14:00 地 點(diǎn):仙林校區(qū)行政樓一樓報(bào)告廳 主辦單位:自動(dòng)化學(xué)院、科技處 報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介: Dr. Xiaobo Tan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering (by courtesy) at Michigan State University. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in automatic control from Tsinghua University, China, in 1995 and 1998, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2002. His research interests include bio-inspired underwater robots and their application to environmental sensing, electroactive polymer sensors and actuators, and modeling and control of systems with hysteresis. Dr. Tan has (co)authored one book (Biomimetic Robotic Artificial Muscles) and over 60 journal papers, and holds one US patent with two more pending. He is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award (2006), MSU Teacher-Scholar Award (2010), and several Best Paper Awards. |
