　　In this talk, I discuss some recent results about quaternion matrices and their applications to imaging science. Theoretical reuslts, mathematical models and numerical examples are provided.

　　吳國(guó)寶（Michael K.Ng），教授，數(shù)學(xué)家，美國(guó)工業(yè)與應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)院士(SIAM Fellow),馮康科學(xué)計(jì)算獎(jiǎng)得主，現(xiàn)任香港大學(xué)理學(xué)院大數(shù)據(jù)研究集群主任，香港大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系講座教授。主要研究方向?yàn)閼?yīng)用與計(jì)算數(shù)學(xué)、人工智能與機(jī)器學(xué)習(xí)、數(shù)據(jù)與影像科學(xué)與數(shù)值線(xiàn)性代數(shù)與科學(xué)計(jì)算。吳國(guó)寶教授先后擔(dān)任多個(gè)著名雜志主編或者副主編，包括SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences，SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing，Journal of Scientific Computing，Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics等。吳國(guó)寶教授發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)著作700多篇，文章引用次數(shù)多達(dá)2萬(wàn)多次。
